1:17.6	Awesome. Yeah, it took this interview last minute. So just let's get started. What got you down
1:24.3	this path? What was the catalyst that got you started down the UFO research? I know that's a hard
1:29.1	question, but if you could entertain it, we're obligated to ask you this through contact in the desert.
1:36.7	It's not that complicated. I had the illusion many, many years ago that I wanted to teach
1:43.4	at a university. And so I was working on a PhD in history in Cold War studies. So Harry Truman,
1:49.0	the Russians, the birth of the CIA, everything having to do with the world of national security
1:54.2	and 1950. Don't ask me why. I don't know why, but I was into it at the time. And we're talking
2:01.0	early 1990s and I stumbled into the UFO subject. It was that simple. One part of it was seeing a
2:10.3	UFO conspiracy book on a bookshelf, a great book by Timothy Good called above top secret
2:16.0	worldwide UFO cover up. I thought, oh, wow. Worldwide UFO cover up. Even in the 90s, people that heard
2:23.0	claims of a UFO cover up, I mean, you know, we had known that much. So I remembered flipping through
2:28.4	the book thinking, like I'd recognize all of the names that he had in there, but I had not read
2:34.2	about them in a UFO context. So that was intriguing to me. I thought, wow, this is like an alternate
2:38.6	reality. And then at the same time, I was exploring the early internet, all the news groups. There
