We live in a culture that romanticizes everything and I am convinced this is why a lot of relationships end and why a lot of friendships end as well.

It's because we romanticize everything. This is also why people leave church and never go back.

I thank my God always when I remember you in my prayers because I hear of your love and of your faith

that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the Saints and I pray that the

sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.

For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother,

because the hearts of the Saints

have been refreshed through you.

He says in verse five, something really kind of confusing.

When you look at this verse,

it's like, what is he getting look at this verse, it's like,

what is this, what is he getting at in this verse?

It's because it's written in a chiastic form.

A chiastic form is a certain pattern that follows A, B, B, A.

So what I mean by that is if you look at verse 5 he mentions love then he

mentions faith then faith again and then love at the end so A is love and faith is B. So he says your love is directed towards the
