Friends, when you hear the word theology, what do you think about?

How does that feel to you?

Many people hear that word and they think boring or they think

dry and meaningless. But in fact, theology, the actual word means study of God. And it's one of the

most life-giving disciplines when we understand it rightly. I think of theology as truth, God's truth, that helps us in life.

Because when we see things from God's perspective, how he says things really are, then we're

able to live our lives according to that truth, which means we're following the manufacturer's

instructions, so to speak, and we're getting the best results

out of what he is intended. Now, today, we're going to dig into a handful of theological terms

that the Apostle Paul uses all right in a row. Now, we talked about these in yesterday's episode,

when we talked about what it means that God works all things together for our good.

And today we're going to just define some of the terms a little more clearly so that we all

understand the awesomeness of our God and can live in light of those truths.
