All right, welcome to our first episode ever of a brand new podcast called Theology Applied with Right Response Ministries.

Let me give you real quick the vision of this podcast.

Theology applied.

One of our concerns is that there are many in the conservative, biblical, evangelical

camp today in the church that they are more than happy.

Praise God to acknowledge and recognize the authority of Scripture,

the inerrancy of Scripture,

and yet there seems to be a disconnect between the inerrancy of Scripture

and the sufficiency of Scripture.

So what we want to do is we want to help provide

people with a Christian worldview. We want to help people begin to take their theology and not just

have the right doctrines, but learn how to take these correct biblical doctrines and begin applying

them to all aspects of life. And so one of my concerns

as a pastor is that there's not always a lot of application in the church, that we would take a text,

even in expositional preaching. We would take a text. We would exeat the text in the pulpit,

the minister on the Lord's Day, and then we would say a prayer and be done.

But I think that preaching is composed of three primary parts. There's revelation,

interpretation, application. Revelation, interpretation, application. The revelation is not a

revelation of man. It's not, I have a dream. I have a vision. I have an idea. But the
