Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. We have lots of people out there who are doing

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

We've meditated on the cardinal virtues,

otherwise known as the human virtues of prudence, justice,

fortitude, and temperance.

And now we take up the theological virtues, the supernatural virtues of. the

supernatural virtues of faith, hope, and love.

Now, the phrase, children of God, it's become so common that we tend to take it for granted.

We hear that we're God's sons and daughters over and over and perhaps it's come to the point where it doesn't make much of an

impression on us anymore. But maybe it helps us to remember that we're not

automatically God's children by birth. We become his children

by adoption through baptism. God is God. We're creatures. We don't proceed from Him like the Eternal Son.

God has graciously chosen to adopt us as his own into his life and his love by baptism.

And the difference between getting adopted and staying orphans is one that makes all the difference in the world.

Our Father who arts in heaven, hallow would be your name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us to stay our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us

and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from
