This is how today's guest, Brett Baer, describes President Theodore Roosevelt in his new book,

To Rescue the American Spirit. It's an excellent biography on our 26th president, often considered

the first modern president, and a man who altered the course of American history. Mr. Bear has

written several books on the presidency to rescue the Constitution about George Washington,

which we had him on the podcast previously to talk about. He wrote a book about Ronald Reagan,

Three Days in Moscow, has written books on Franklin Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Make sure you

you've done this whole series. Why was Theodore Roosevelt next on the list? Well, first of all,
