Welcome to the Thinking Fellows podcast. My name is Caleb and I'm joined by Dr. Rod Rosenblot, Dr. Scott Keith,

Dr. Adam Francisco and a very regular guest now, Dr. Jeff Malinson.

We are in our great thinkers of the Christian faith series. It's been a long road. It's been a fun road.

We're not anywhere close to done, really. Every time we think that we're getting close to

being done, people want us to do a second follow-up episode on somebody, or we remember a new name

to add to the list, or Dr. Francisco is just a wealth of knowledge of people who are just not

on my radar at all to do. We're going to have an episode coming up after

this one. And so today we're doing one that we've kind of teased since the beginning. We had

Dr. Malinson on to kick off our first episode on Augustine and to be on two episodes on Calvin.

And so on both of those episodes,

we've kind of talked about how your big connection

to Calvin is your work on Beza.

And so Dr. Malinson's PhD dissertation is on Beza.

And so he is the expert in the room.

And so we're gonna let him kind of riff on the theology of Beza today.

But to kind of introduce it, we're going to give a quick outline of sort of the dates and the background of Beza.

And Dr. Francisco is going to do that for us.

So Adam, if you could please just kind of outline Baza for it.

Knowing Adam, just like with a cache of memory,

he probably knows as much about Baza as anyone.
