And guess what?

We actually got some real Minnesota Vikings news today.

No, it wasn't quite the news that everybody expected a Sam

Darnold contract or news that Sam Darnold wouldn't be coming back, although I was just

watching Ian Rappaport on NFL Network and he was going through the scenarios with the

Vikings quarterback situation.

And he got around to talking about, well, would there be a competition in training camp?

And he said, well, if there's any team that could kind of work it out, then it would be the Vikings based on just how KOC handles things.

And Sam Darnold did well with it last

year. And I thought, I'm not really seeing why Sam Darnold wouldn't take a job where he

doesn't have to compete. So we're still sort of in the same holding pattern of people just talking

their way through it.
