0:09.8	For Vault Studios, I'm Reid Redmond. You're listening to The Daily Crime. In January of this year, the family of 22-year-old Tierra Lott says she video-chatted with one of her friends, and that it appeared she'd been beaten up.
0:34.2	We knew she got beat up by her face. Her face was swollen. We knew she was beat up.
0:39.3	The friends asked for an address, wanting to send an Uber to Tierra.
0:43.3	But the phone hung up, and 10 minutes later, they received a message.

0:49.3	Like three or four people in group text saying, God forbid if anything happened to me, I love y'all and tell everybody.

1:08.0	What were the circumstances surrounding her apparent disappearance?
1:11.4	You know, what's important to note about this story is that I remember seeing a post on social
1:16.9	media. There's a missing girl. Her name is Tierra a lot. And there wasn't really any news coverage
1:23.8	about it. As we all know, a lot of times there are missing persons out there.
1:29.1	But this one kind of hit me.
1:30.4	I'm thinking, wow, where is this girl?
1:32.4	What's going on here?
1:33.6	And then it just kept going on for a couple more days.
1:35.8	So I remember reaching out.
1:37.8	I spoke with her mom.
1:39.7	And when I called the mom, I said, you know, your daughter's missing.
