Summary

Once the sprinter's teams realized they couldn’t bring back such a strong breakaway, Mads Pedersen managed to split the breakaway and narrow it down to a 3-man sprint that he dominated. It was another tough day for Caleb Ewan hitting the deck again. For the GC today remained uneventful, but expect the attacks to resume tomorrow, likely on the 5k uphill finish.

I'm like every other hipster out there. I'm getting into this gravel thing. Bottom line.

0:24.3

I don't like being with cars. gravel gets me away from that. This GS1 though, you can

0:29.1

ride that on the road. This thing's a damn rocket ship. Cool thing they're doing this

0:33.2

year. We're picking a couple days, a couple of few days a week of a Ventum rider of the

0:37.6

day just follow at Ventum Racing and at WeDo.Team. Tag us, throw up a post. Tell us why you love

1:01.7

JB Hager and the eternal second place, Dr. George Hinkappy down there. Second, what do you

1:09.6

mean? Well, you're in second. Well, we don't know. We'll see what's happening with the

1:13.3

feed vote today. But you were in second place yesterday. Listen, Mads Patterson. I don't

1:20.7

know. I don't know. I've never really, I mean, obviously former World Champion. I haven't

1:23.8

followed his career that closely. But my sense is you put a number on this guy's back.

1:28.1

He's going to race. Like there was, to me, there was no doubt he was going to win that

1:32.1

stage today and that break. Yeah, no doubt. He's a racer. He started in peak fitness for

1:36.8

the first stage of the Tour de France already getting second or third on the first or second

1:40.2

stage of the Tour de France in his home country. And clearly he came out with a plan today

1:45.1

and ended up just crushing everybody there at the finish. We're going to break all this

1:48.6

down in a second. Today, she also brought to you by Roca Rob and his crew down in Austin,
