We're talking about the latest state police scandal.

There are a couple of them, but this is the one in Wilburne, Middlesex County.

In 2023, a second-generation state cop hit a, cross the center line, struck a wheelchair van,

and killed a paraplegic guy from Saugus, I believe.

And the state trooper was taken to the Leahy in Burlington, the hospital, and a blood test showed that he had a blood alcohol content of 1.1.14,

which is almost one and a half times the legal limit.

He claims it was a mistake.

He was never charged with anything. He got a warning for a marked lane violation with a

with a fatality he wasn't interviewed for eight days the uh the the investigator was a woman who

was soon promoted to lieutenant he was promoted to sergeant the guy who killed that had the high

blood alcohol level he was promoted to sergeant, the guy who killed that had the high blood alcohol level,
