Brenda had asked me after this movie if I enjoyed it.

And I was like, I don't know.

Like, you know, it's great.

But I would not use the word enjoy.

I read a review that was like provided in the rundown by our producer, Matt.

And first of all, the review I I rarely get furious at reviewers

because I'm like oh it's just I was furious is this the review that was just like

the gimmick runs out of basically yeah I think I made it two words into that

review and I said fuck it's one of the dingong blogger or whatever yeah and one of the

things they said was they basically were like, nothing happens,

and they could have like easily made it where like, you know, Haas like messes up and Hitler's about to get mad at him.

And then so, and I'm like, dude, why are you manufacturing this drama shit?

I was like, first of all, that's stupid.

But second of all, the thing that they said was like, you know, you, it would have been a more enjoyable experience if, do, do, do, do, I'm like, motherfucker.

Enjoyable. Is that your metric for like art?

I love the notion. Yeah. The notion of this person's idea, yeah, how to manufacture some drama, some conflict, so we can really have a rooting interest in the Rudolph Ha's story.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

And then I also kind of want to be like, or like, first of all, I actually think that there's a lot going on on the screen, but even more importantly, the real plot or the real narrative is what takes place off the screen.

And that's the point of the movie, is that the movie is supposed to engage your imagination as humans who live in the wake of the Holocaust and who understand this,

and who also understand the possibilities that there are maybe potentially many holocausts, and I use real big air quotes on that,
