All right, everybody. Let's take our Bibles and go to 2nd Corinthians chapter 6, if you would please.

Second Corinthians chapter 6 in the New Testaments of your Bibles.

If you're new to Cornerstone, we just teach straight through the Bible.

And we find ourselves here now in the 6th chapter of the book of 2nd Corinthians.

I'm going to read this morning or this afternoon now i'm

going to read verses 14 to 18 we'll close out the chapter by looking here at second corinthian 6 starting at

verse 14 paul writes by the inspiration of the holy spirit says, do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers.

For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness, and what communion has light with darkness,

and what accord has Christ with Balil, or what part has a believer with an unbeliever

and what agreement has the temple of God with idols for you are the temple of the living God

as God has said I will dwell in them and walk them. I will be their God and they shall be my people.

Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean and I will receive you.

I will be a father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

Let's pause there and pray.

Father in heaven, we're just glad to be here in your house where we can worship you and pray together and fellowship and seek your face.

And now to open your word and to have you speak to us, Lord.

So we thank you for this passage

we're going to be looking at today. And Lord, I just ask that you would speak through me, that people

would hear what you would want them to hear, and that we would not be hearers only but doers

of your word. And we love you and we praise you together in Jesus' name. And everybody said,

amen. Well, some things just simply don't go together. Oil and water, socks and sandals,

milk and lemonade, hair pieces, and high gusty winds.
