Now, police in Lexington, Kentucky just announced that they have determined the culprit was serial killer Robert Eugene Brashers. He murdered women and girls across several states, and was also responsible for the quadruple homicide at I Can't Believe It's Yogurt.

0:16.7	So today is January 7, 26. And today today Lexington Police in Kentucky just announced that they solved the 1998 homicide of Linda Marie Rutledge.
0:29.1	If you recall some of the murder sheet's previous coverage, you'll recognize this case because we covered it.
0:35.7	The reason we covered the murder of Miss Rutledge is because we believed at the time that it was linked to the serial killer Robert Eugene Breshears, who had just been announced as the culprit of the 1991 yogurt shop murders in Austin, Texas.

2:16.8	Let's talk about the actual case, the actual murder of Ms. Rutledge. How does that sound?
2:21.6	Sounds like a good plan. This is a horrible, horrible crime just to anybody who is listening. If you know, if you're not in the headspace, this is pretty horrible. So what occurred and what we previously reported was early morning hours of Saturday, November 7th, 1998.
2:38.2	A passing motorist spots a fire at a business around 7 a.m. or 7.30.
2:44.4	And the business is the Nixon Hearing Aid Center at 1-21 Malibu Drive number 8 in Lexington, Kentucky. This is, as you can imagine, a
2:54.4	hearing aid center that they sell hearing aids. That's their business. The Lexington Fire Department
2:58.7	responds and puts out the blaze and then find a woman's body inside. It's apparent from the get-go that
3:05.7	her injuries were not just from the fire, but that she had been murdered.
