We, of course, get a one week off.

And still, we wanted to put something out there for you guys.

So, Jake, you want to explain what we've been doing over at Patreon?

Oh, over on Patreon release bonus episodes every week, either talking about the latest games

and movies we've been watching or, uh, dealing with, uh, dangerous, recent in the, in the

headlines, taboo topics.

Uh, but one of our most popular series that we started was the year that was,

which is a half-hour deep dive into the releases of TV, movies, video games.

We've been starting in the 2000s.

So we've been going year by year through the Y2K era, the not-e-a-east.

It's very bizarre too, because I feel like I took a bit of a break from video games during that time.

It's shocking to go back and see, like, oh, my God, 2002 was like a weird year for comedy films.

Or 2003 was like this bizarre transition year for video games.

You know, by the way, I don't know if either of those things are true, but still

gleaning these very interesting. And of course, always it takes me back to a time and place.

For me, these early episodes, 2001, I graduated from high school. So it's me and having a massive life

change and seeing all of the media that surrounded that that I used as like pillows to break

the fall of going to college for the first time, dealing with parties, you know, being a sort of a sex

god in college. You know what I mean? All of these things.
