Hello, hello, hello!

It's been quite some time since last week's spoken.

Shortly after I finished editing our last podcast, I booked a ticket to Istanbul.

I bought the ticket on a Friday, I was out on a Wednesday, and I was gone for about

10 days.

I had an amazing trip, a solo trip.

Istanbul had been on my bucket list for a couple years now.

I was scrolling through Pinterest, planning an entirely different vacation, and I saw pictures

of Istanbul and I was like, oh my god, this is the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

I have to go see it.

Istanbul is just a beautiful city, like physically beautiful, but it has so much history, so many

gorgeous buildings, so much amazing food, so much great art, so much great architecture.

So I'd planned out a whole itinerary years ago, and I just sat on it.

Every time I mentioned to someone, I wanted to go to Istanbul, it was like, yeah, we should

go there, but you know where else we should go?

And we ended up going there.

Or there was this friend she really wanted to go to Istanbul with me.

Whenever I was free to go, she was going somewhere else or she had work.

We talked about going in January, but then school starts up again for me the second half
