you know, so she didn't like Julie Andrews casting because Julie's too good looking.

I mean, she didn't understand the film process, of course, in terms of adapting books.

Often books have to change. Producer Ian Colley adapted his documentary about Mary Poppins author

P.L. Travers into the film Saving Mr. Banks. Colley says the author didn't care for the

Mary Poppins movie, and she probably wouldn't be too crazy about the big screen depiction of herself

either. But first we tackle the new year with a mega Hollywood news banter, looking at the

late night landscape, post-Lenno, and whether people really will pay 50 bucks to go to the movies.
