Summary

Spring has sprung and is traditionally the season for renewal, flowers, rain showers, and of course, spring cleaning! Gayle and I have both been organizing, putting projects into bags, straightening our knitting corners in our houses, and putting together little notions bags or boxes to carry with our projects. For us, I think it has been more a function of the post-Stitches West mad dash towards some kind of project organization, but it happens to fall conveniently as spring is arriving. We mention the "essentials" we like to carry along in our notions bag or box, and we'd love to hear what you have in yours. Post a pic in the thread for Episode 58 on Ravelry, or post it on Instagram with hashtag #whatsinyournotionsbag   We'd love to have you play along with us!

Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast.

This is episode 58, which we are recording on Friday, March 21st.

0:17.1

I'm Gail.

0:17.7

And I'm Charlene.

0:18.7

And what are you wearing?

0:20.5

I am wearing my E's pullover which is a pattern by Alicia Plummer and I have been wearing a lot and

0:27.7

I was kind of laughing because this morning was a very foggy morning.

0:34.2

Chilly and foggy.

0:36.0

Chili and cold and I was wearing a t-shirt and this has been my

0:40.6

pull-over-everything sweater so I pulled it on and about half an hour ago as you as per

0:48.8

schedule the sun came out and now I'm too warm so I'll be pulling this off soon and back to the t-shirt.

0:57.0

It's funny that you've been wearing ease a lot. So I wonder how many recent episodes that's what

1:02.5

you've been wearing. I know. That's what I was thinking. That's exactly what I was thinking

1:07.7

because when I pulled it on, I'm thinking, oh, I'm going to have to say ease again, but it's what I'm wearing.

1:13.6

Well, I saw Charlene yesterday and she was wearing her Laika sweater, so I can attest to

1:18.5

the fact that she does not actually wear ease every single day, even though it looks comfortable

1:23.8

enough to do so.

1:25.1

It just happened to be a foggy day today, which we were also saying is very odd because

1:30.8

it was more like a summer day with the fog in the morning and then the fog burning off and

1:38.0

having a sunny afternoon, which is much more of our summer pattern than spring weather pattern.

1:44.6

So our seasons are still very odd this year.

1:48.5

They're all confused and mixed up.
