And we have a special guest on the podcast today, Kim from Western Sky Nits.

I'm doing good.

So today is the kickoff of a special short series that we're doing on the podcast, talking to a couple of our favorite indie yarn dyers to learn more about what the dyeing process entails,

what little nuggets we can glean as knitters and fiber lovers, and just to learn more and have more of an appreciation

for the art slash craft that you guys spoil us with with our hand-dived yarns.

And some education so that we as knitters and crocheters and yarn consumers can come to the table,

to our fiber festivals, to our local yarn stores, armed with a little bit of knowledge

about how to manage our own expectations,

about what kind of yarn we're looking for, colors that are realistic, fibers that are realistic

to use, and that kind of thing.

Exactly.

And Kim had mentioned there might be a backhoe in the distance at her ranch in Montana, and I apologize if you can hear the garbage truck in the background at my house. We're recording my house today, which is unusual. And I forgot today was garbage day.

Oh, well.
