And I'm Charlene. And it is Thanksgiving week in the U.S.,

which means there has been a lot of traffic and a lot of people around, and the holidays have

officially started. Lots of people who apparently don't shop for groceries the rest of the year.

Yeah, because where do they all come from?

We say this to each other every year, and we never quite understand.

All right, what are you wearing?

Well, I have been wearing and having fun wearing all the shawls.

I have just been wearing a different shawl every day, purposefully, I guess, kind of, because

I've been looking at the shawls that I have in my drawer, trying to pick a different one

every day and just have fun with them.

And gosh, I love shawls. Awesome. I love to hear you say that.

And you wear them. Yes, I wear them a lot. And the one that I have been wearing a lot this week is my

inner piece shawl by Hoi Locatelli. I've made two of those, and I've actually worn both this week.

The inner piece shawl calls for 560 yards of yarn. So it's kind of an awkward amount if you typically

buy 400-yard skeins of fingering weight yarn,

because then you need just a little bit of a second skein. But when I made mine, there were a lot of

dyers that were selling these kind of jumbo 600 yards scades.

And I don't see those for sale too much anymore.

I think perhaps maybe the wholesaler who packaged them that way.
