Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast.

This is episode number 327, which we are recording on Thursday, July 25th,

2024. I'm Gail. And I'm Charlene. and we're back outside in beautiful UCSC today. Hopefully

we'll get some little sound effects from birds maybe some squirrels who maybe the turkeys

will wander by. Yeah you never go around here. We like the creature noises. Exactly. All right what

are you wearing? Well today I'm actually wearing the garment that I'm going to talk about.

I recently finished a pattern called the islet drop, which is a design by Lila Raven.

If you remember, I recently made the islet Raglan sweater from Lila Raven. And she's paired up these two patterns together,

similar designs, but two different styles.

One is a raglan and this one is drop shoulder.

So I've made mine as a short sleeve tea, which makes it really easy to complete the sleeves

because you only have to then knit ribbing around the openings because after the name,

the drop shoulder part that hangs down and creates the short sleeve is already part of the

fabric.

It looks like a cap sleeve. Yeah, very and i'm wearing it today because i wore it yesterday to a knitting group that

gail and i attended and completely forgot to have her take a picture so hopefully i'm going to remember

today that's the thing. Can we remember today?
