And I'm Charlene. And we're at our golf course recording studio,

which means we're parked at the golf course with a very pretty view. This is where the

frog serenaded us in a not too distant episode. But I don't hear the frog today. No, and it's not

damp like it was at that time of the true. At that time of the year.

It's dry again, sadly. So what are you wearing? I have been wearing my Weekender sweater,

which is a pullover by Andrea Mowrie. And it's a super popular, boxy-shaped pullover sweater that's knit in worsted

weight yarn. Currently, there are 11,000 projects on Ravelry, so that's what I mean by

super popular. And, you know, I think just the fact that it's knit in worsted weight makes a lot of kniters more comfortable

making a sweater than fingering white does even though folks in our neck of the woods seem to really prefer fingering white sweaters just because of our

climate, I think a lot of newer knitters really prefer working with worsted wheat yarn.

Yeah, it goes faster. You see progress faster. Yeah, exactly. So I think that's part of the reason why this pattern is so popular.

Also, the boxy shape.

It's not fitted in any way.

So you have a much better chance of being successful with the sweater because you don't,

you're not having to make it fit in any specific way it's just boxy and

oversized no shaping no shaping yes so i knit mine back in october of 2018 and though i do wear

it quite a bit true to what i was saying about fingering white yarn,

it doesn't get as much wear as my fingering white sweaters.

But I am glad to have a couple of worsted white sweaters every year when the cold season hits.
