And I'm Charlene.

And we're back in the mobile recording studio,

which is my car on the UC Santa Cruz campus, which is absolutely beautiful today. It's February

9th, so it's winter, but it's about 70 degrees and beautiful and sunny outside. And we are

listening to Scrub Jays squawking.

There are some crows out there.

I hear a woodpecker tapping.

We've seen lots of little birds in the brush.

And there will probably be some hawks.

Yes, we saw some driving up.

Supposedly the turkeys are really active right now.

No frogs, though. Sorry for all of those who really liked our frog episode, but there aren't any frogs in the forest that I'm aware of. So it's just, quote unquote, birds, but I love birds. So we wanted to start by saying a huge thank you

to all of you who posted in the thread for our last episode, which is our 10 year podcast anniversary.

There were so many sweet stories and reminiscences about the first time you would listen to us

or how long you've been listening or so many sweet stories.

It was so heartwarming.

It really was. That was so cool.

And the fun thing about you guys telling those stories is that we learn a little bit about you every time you tell us a story like that. So we really enjoy that and really
