What am I wearing?

I am wearing my Owls sweater, which is a pattern that was written by Kate Davies.

That was a boo kitty's knees in the background.

And my owl's sweater, I knit last January.

In fact, Gail and I were just saying that it was one of the first projects,

I think we talked about on the podcast. And I knit mine a little bit differently. I believe

looking at the pattern page. Now, this pattern was originally a free pattern, and then at some point, she rewrote it,

changed it, and it became a pattern for purchase. And I knit mine from the pattern that I still

had in my library, which was the original free version.

So I don't know what changed, what was different, and then I continued to change it because I ended up knitting mine top down instead of bottom up, which was the way it was in the original pattern that I had.

I don't know. I assume it's the same currently in the purchase pattern. I'm not sure. But I made mine top down and I made it tunic length. Mine is made in Cascade 128 tweed and it was And it was a project that was driven by a sale yarn purchase.

Do you remember that?

Because I bought the purple.

Yeah.

The yarn was on sale for a really good price.

I loved this color, having used a similar color in Cascade 220 for another project, and purchased the yarn, not knowing what I was going to make, quickly found the owl's pattern.
