Hello and welcome to the Yarniaks podcast. This is episode number 229, which we are recording on Thursday, October 8th, 2020. I'm Gail. And I'm Charlene. And it's still 2020. That's all I can say. It's been a rough one.

It is. You know, what's interesting, a couple, it may have been the last episode or two episodes

ago. I said something about, I have to have hope that we will be able to get out

of the house and wear our sweaters again. And a lot of folks commented on that. And I just wanted

to say thank you so much for listening and for commenting because, gosh, it's hard.

And we do have to have hope that we'll be able to wear our hand knits amongst

groups of our knitting friends again in the future.

I agree.

And this is somewhat knitting adjacent as a subject.

I have to see where I put it.

So I got a gift recently from my friend Melissa, who I talk about on the podcast fairly regularly.

And this is knitting adjacent because she got me an adorable little journal.

Found it.

I'm in my closet with all sorts of things around me on the floor.

So I'm kind of buried in my own stuff right now.

So this journal is called Live Your Own Wildlife, a journal for humans with advice from

animals.

So every other page has a little, like, do this to help guide your thoughts kind of thing and it's super super cute i'm

going to show charlie in some of the little pictures oh it's really cute it's all animal based

and so i'm flipping through reading all the little prompts thinking oh this is so cute this is so

cute and then i turn the page and there is balance work and play. And it's a kitty cat

knitting and playing with the yarn ball. Oh, that is so cute. I don't even think she realized

...
