Summary

Episode 21! We had a lot of fun recording this episode and actually recorded this one straight through. Usually we need to take a drink or throat-clearing break, or one of us "umms" too many times and calls a halt to the proceedings. But this time, straight through. After 21 episodes maybe we are getting the hang of it. :) Again, we attempt to cram far too much information into one short hour, so this episode goes a bit over. Stick with us!

A big thanks to all who have been participating in the pattern purchase discussion over in our group on Ravelry. It is very enlightening and we love hearing all of your opinions.  And if we've forgotten to say it lately, another big THANK-YOU to all our listeners. You brighten our days, and ignite our knitting passion. We love our craft and we love sharing it with you.

And what are you wearing today?

0:19.3

Well, I was just telling Gail, I think I wore this a couple episodes ago, and now that I think about it, I think, do you remember the episode where we took the picture? I think this is the sweater I was wearing. Oh, that's right. You were. Yeah, that's what I thought. Oh, well. But it's super, super cute. So now you guys know how much I actually really do wear this sweater called Drifting by Sicily Glawick McDonald,

0:40.3

which I knit in abstract fiber super sock, and I have actually made two of these, one of them being gifted to my sister.

0:49.3

And it is a loose cardigan, open fronts, no fastenings, throw on over a t-shirt, and that is why I

wear it a lot.

1:01.4

And it is perfect for the sunny Indian summer weather we're having in Santa Cruz.

1:06.0

We are having very warm weather today.

1:07.8

It's got to be over 80 degrees.

1:10.2

It was 86 in my driveway when I left.

1:12.4

That sounds about right. So a little cooler than the last time we were right. It is. A little bit.

1:16.5

But still, it's a lovely October we're having here and my house stays cold, cool.

1:21.7

Cool. In warm weather. We're probably 10 to 15 degrees cooler inside inside so I have my little cardigan thrown

1:30.1

over my tank top and I admit that I have stalked that yarn several times since we took

1:35.2

that picture because it's just such a pretty happy color so I've stalked it but I've resisted

1:40.5

all temptation to actually acquire it. Until stitches, maybe.

1:44.9

Yes.

1:45.5

It's called the Valentine Colorway, and it's pinks and purples, a little light pink,

1:51.2

a little splash of orange thrown in there.

1:53.4

The main color is a bright pink, and then it looks.
