We've got a busy day.

A lot going on on this Friday, Friday the 13th.

Not only are their drones flying over the state of New Jersey, and no one tells us why,

but the New York Yankees made a blockbuster trade earlier today.

Just tuning in, they acquired Devin Williams, the elite closer from the Milwaukee Brewers for Nestor Cortez and the immortal Caleb Durbin.

But they've also seen one of the apples of their eye, Kyle Tucker,

in the last 20 minutes, get traded to the Chicago Cubs. And what we know, according to Jack Curry,

is that the Yankees were unwilling to include Louise Heel. Doesn't mean they would have gotten

them for Louise Heel, but the Yankees, knowing Tucker's a free agent at the end of the year,

and obviously Heel had this brilliant, brilliant rookie season, were unwilling to part with him. I think Tiki's on the side of the

Yankees saying, why would you? Guys got five more years of team control, and he's awesome.

To me, it's a tough pill to swallow because I love Luis Heel. It's not a knock on him.

But when you are trying to trade for players as good as Kyle Tucker, you got to give up something to get something.

And usually those trades hurt.

They're not easy.

Most trades are not easy.

I think the one for Devin Williams was, but a lot of these others, man, they stink.

Yeah, but I also feel like maybe this is an opportunity for Brian Cashman and the Yankees to change their identity, right?

And it's going to be slow, obviously, because Aaron Judge is still here and John Carlo Stanton is still here.

There's still guys that want to hit home runs and go yard.

But I think clearly they're trying to become

a dominant pitching

...
