The Yankees dodged the boat this weekend with Aaron Judge. Obviously, it was scary on Saturday when the news came out that Aaron was dealing with this elbow issue. We all feared Tommy John surgery. We all feared the worst. And look, it still sucks. He's going on the injured list for 10 days, maybe more. and it sucks that he may come back and only be able to DH.

Like, I get that the Yankees had been a disappointment.

I understand that being a wild car team right now was not the goal.

I get all that.

I understand that being six games behind the Blue Jays is something maybe you didn't see coming.

But when you are in a playoff spot, when you have the talent that the Yankees have, it is not an option to sell.

No.

It is a stupid strategy.

It's a dumb strategy.

And the only way I could describe why a Yankee fan would employ a dumb and stupid strategy is they're so used to winning at a different level that to them being in this muck that they're in right now

is so unfamiliar, the reaction is, let's just sell.
