And so we saw for the first time, I know he hasn't played every single game, but for the

first time this year, this manager showed a pair.

He benched Anthony Volpe.

And I think this is something we may see more of over the next month and a half.

And while this may not translate into winning 10 out of 12 or then beating the Red Sox when they see them again in a couple of weeks, I thought it was much needed.

And I thought it was at least a great positive that the Yankee fan should take going into this series against Washington.
