I've never actually really been particularly able to get super into Halloween. I don't know why.

But now I have a tiny daughter who's going to be very into it and get me candy.

So I'm very excited about that on today's show. Johnny Long, how are you Johnny?

I'm good thanks Kaylee I'm not into Halloween either so it's good to be around

like-minded people. It's only kind of just recently shown up on

the shores of your aisle. Is that true? It's been threatening for a while but one of the

best things my mom ever did was not let us trick or treat because she thought it was a

terrible sort of inconvenience for our neighbors.

And she's very Catholic so maybe that's got something to do with it.

But yeah, not resisting Halloween Halloween that's what I do.

Well I grew up in the middle of nowhere and so we kind of did our own thing. We'd have my mom would put green food dye and milk and we'd have Gary Baldy biscuits, dead fly biscuits. I don't know if they've made their way over the pond. That was basically and we'd watch a not really very scary movie. We were children. In Scotland

there's a Halloween is quite a big thing. They call it guising where you dress up in it's not necessarily scary it's just you just dress up and

and guys around the town I've never been to that either I don't I don't I don't I'm not

familiar with that verb well it's from disguise I think oh so you dress up and you go yeah door to door

guysing yeah interesting I'm learning all sorts of things here.

It becomes a bit of a competition who's dressed up the best.
