Very important. Matthew 27 and 12 tells us after they had arrested Jesus and beat him and done all the horrible things to him.

The Bible says that that wasn't all that was done to him. He was accused falsely.

They accused Jesus falsely.

Started rumors on him.

Start saying he was the devil.

Start saying he was using the devil's power.

Started saying that he was mocking the government.

Start saying he was mocking people saying he was, you know, all these

different things, that he was hurting the economy, that he was hurting the money, that he was

hurting the Pharisees, basically going against them, going against the law of Moses.

He was doing things that the law of Moses said don't do by, you know, desecrating the Sabbath day, healing folks on the

Sabbath and, you know, all of those things. And he wasn't obeying the Ten Commandments. And so

he is of the devil. These are the things that they were accusing him of. And it was the priest

and the elders that were doing it. So the Bible tells us in Matthew 27 and 12, Jesus is standing before pilot at this time.

They were getting ready to convict him of these sayings. And the Bible says, and when he was accused

of the chief priest and elders, he did what? He answered nothing.

So that means that they were sitting there accusing him of all these things and Jesus

didn't say, no, no, I didn't do that.

Now here's what I came to do.

I did.

Jesus didn't do that.
