It is a great privilege for me to be here this morning with you.

Please open your Bibles to Romans chapter 3. Verse 23, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift

by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus,

whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in his blood through faith.

This was to demonstrate his righteousness,

because in the forbearance of God he passed over the sins previously committed.

For the demonstration, I say, of his righteousness at the present time, so that he would

be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Where then is boasting?

It is excluded by what kind of law of works, no, but by a law of faith. Let's pray.

Father, we ask in Jesus' name that your spirit would illuminate the preacher.

Me, Lord. illuminate the preacher.

Me, Lord.

And the hearer, them, Lord.

Lord, we've discussed this so often. Preaching is so pitiful words or they almost make me angry.

There are no words, I suppose, on earth.

Nor do I believe there are words in heaven that are worthy of your son.

So in our impotence, in our weakness, our foolishness, please look down and have pity.

I'm asking you, please have pity.

And if there are people here who do not know you savingly,

Lord, you opened up my eyes on that day,

and not even a wretch like me could turn away.
