Welcome to another episode of How to Win 2024. We are recording on December 13th,

but you'll probably hear this around the holidays. I'm Jennifer Pulmeri,

and I'm here with my fabulous co-host, former Senator Claire McCaskall.

Claire, I've been looking forward to this topic for a while.

Yeah, there's going to be a good one.

You know, the Republicans are in a bubble in the House

and I think they've cast a lot of votes that don't translate well, particularly

to swing voters that make majorities and frankly elect presidents.

So the Democratic whip, Catherine Clark is going to join us to help break down some of the votes that we think might get Republicans in the most trouble in 2024 and figure out what Democrats ought to be talking about next year as it relates to the Republicans records,

particularly in the House and maybe a little bit in the Senate.

And you know the the Republicans have a very narrow margin.

It's three votes right now I think because Santos is gone.

Right.

So the Democrats only have to flip, depending on what happens in that special election,

four or five seats to win back the majority.

And so I have sort of been mentally processing all of the bad votes that the House Republicans have

taken that can come back to haunt them and we have a list of good ones some that

even I forgot about but we will also start off by taking a look at the biggest winners and losers of the entire year.

Then we'll focus our spotlight on what we think could be the biggest game changer in 2024. How does the Biden campaign keep the

coalition together and enthusiastic, especially in light of things that continue to

happen across the globe, including right now the

Warren Gaza. But tell us about your overall winners and losers for the year.
