In the summer of 1815, a thick fog enveloped Captain James Raleigh in his ship as he was lost off the coast of Africa.

Due to being blinded, the ship then crash landed on the shore of some unknown land.

He then announced to his family that he was going to leave the farm and begin a life at sea.

His parents obviously strongly opposed this and wanted him to go into some kind of mechanical trade,

He was sure about his decision and his dedication to what he wanted to do with his life eventually inspired his parents to actually support his endeavors.
