Quick thought on the Mett lineup that just came out.

They are trying to win a series against the Atlanta Braves.

Mark Vientos is not in the lineup.

He has not started any of the three games against Atlanta. He played one game against the Milwaukee Brewers and went one for three. So he has only started one of the last six games. And that's despite the fact that in the series against Cleveland, he had an extra base hit. And one of the games against the Giants, he had an extra base hit.

So he was showing a pulse. He wasn't tearing it up by any stretch of the imagination. But he's been kind of buried now. And a part of that is Starling Marte was hitting. Brett Beatty is hitting. And in today's case, Ronnie Maricio has been reinserted into the starting lineup. The lineup tonight against Bryce Elder of the Braves-A-R-Ritey is Lindor Soto-Nimo, Alonzo McNeill-Mullens, Maricio at D.H., Beatty at third, and L.T. That's L. T.R.R.E. Terent. Yeah. But I'm friends with him now, so he tells me to call him L.T. just like you're friends with Lawrence Hines, and you call him L.T. L. is catching and batting knife. Right. At least your L.T. Evan is playing baseball. It's not really that much confusion. Evans or Sean's L.T. plays football. And he played it for the Giants. My L.T. It's just as the other LT. Don't do that. Don't start to think about it for a second. I was like, what? He was on both those. Damn, he's not wrong about that. I know.
