episode 31 of Terro Bites, the podcast where I dish out short, entertaining, bite-sized lessons on how to re-tero. For today's

episode our topic is the world. So go ahead and grab your tarot deck and let's begin.

Now this is our last card in the Major Arcana series.

And I love this card because the symbols are so rich,

it's so beautiful, and just looking at this card, it always brings up a positive feeling for me.

You might have a different reaction, but, you know, overall, I just really dig this card.

So anyhow, let's go through some of those symbols

and look at a couple of possible interpretations.

Now you're probably gonna notice that naked woman immediately.

She's front and center so you know what she's not hard to miss.

What I'd like you to notice before we're looking at that nudity pay attention to her legs just for a minute

now you're going to notice that they are in the same position as the figure in the hanged man

except you know of course she's not hanging upside down.

She's standing on one foot.

So if you remember from the hanged man episode,

this position of the leg symbolizes a crossroads.

And again, she's standing on her feet, almost like that tree position in yoga.

She's balanced and she's ready for the next leg of her journey.

Sometimes I look at it as a yoga position but also there's almost an element here where this figure seems to be dancing. Now in 78 degrees of wisdom

Rachel Pollack connects this figure to Shiva, Lord of the Cosmic Dance.
