For today's episode, our topic is judgment.

Go ahead to grab your tarot cards and let's begin. You know, once a great while let me just start out by saying this.

I sometimes come across a person who finds this card upsetting. It's the images of those

the people rising out of their graves and it makes it feel

uncomfortable because they assume it means something about death. Like the death card, the very thought of anything that might imply an ending to a life can be frightening to people.

But the judgment card isn't a negative. In fact, it's a card that shows hope and renewal.

We'll get to that in a minute. Let's go ahead and dig into those symbols first.

I want to start by talking about the number. You're going to notice that this one is number

20. Now if we look at this from a purely numerology perspective, two is a number related to the high priestess and 0 is connected to the fool.

This tells you right away that there is something about judgment that symbolizes a passage or initiation into a new journey.

Now if we start looking at the images of the cards, you know, the one that always stands out to me the most in this card is the horn.

And a horn symbolizes a message, an announcement, or a call.

Think of a call that you feel deep inside. That might be a call to make a big decision or the call to follow

a particular path or maybe the call to change your life. The horn is the

symbol of that call. And the angel in this card is significant too too because this shows that the call is coming from a higher source.

In 78 degrees of wisdom, Rachel Pollack connects this card to the lovers and says,

There, however, the angel was a symbol of greater truth experienced through the medium of love.
