In 2012, everyone thought the world was legitimately going to end because the Mayan calendar,

the ancient Mayan calendar that the Mayans used apparently ended on 2012.

So people interpreted that as the world was going to end.

And I remember like being alive as a 12 year old and thinking like, wow, I can't, I can't

about that later but why 2k when the year changed from 1999 to 2000 people thought there was

going to be a computer bug that was going to wipe out all of humanity.
