I got to begin the show today by talking about the issue and I think it's going to be the issue,

that animates our summer that drives the midterms this year.

We were going to try to talk about a lot of other issues, and we will,

but it's still all about what the Supreme Court is about to do

to Roe v. Wade and what we know they're about to do. Guys 72 countries

including France and Germany, allow for abortion, usually a 12 weeks.

In the past 18 months we've seen Colombia, Argentina, and Mexico, which have always been very

conservative Catholic countries,

decriminalizing abortion.

After waves of protests and women's rights groups campaigning,

Colombia actually now has a at 24 weeks of pregnancy.

Abortion rights exist in Canada, Israel, the UK, Australia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland,

the Republic of Ireland and many, many more.

Now there's about 24 countries in the world

where abortion is completely illegal,

including Malta and Andorra, if you're in Europe,

El Salvador and Honduras in Central America,

if you're in Africa, Egypt, and Senegal,

the Philippines, Laos, and Asia.

About 90 million women of reproductive age are living right now in countries that completely forgive,

prohibit abortion.
