Summary
Liz Tenuto is a somatic specialist, narcissistic abuse survivor, and someone who knows — firsthand — that your chronic pain, your complex anxiety, and your past trauma are ALL related. She is is the CEO and creator of “The Workout Witch,” a program designed to help individuals heal their bodies from pain and stored trauma. She has helped tens of thousands of women recover from trauma and injury for the last 14 years. She healed herself from the chronic pain that kept her in bed most mornings. After obtaining her psychology degree she became certified in somatic techniques.
She is also a former award-winning Director and Choreographer. Her choreography has been featured in national TV commercials (Pepsi Super Bowl, Clairol Hair Color), music videos, and theater productions around the country. Liz offers 30-day courses and is best known for her work with hips & trauma release. Today we discuss trauma, how it is stored in the body and its effects physiologically, targeting the root cause, what areas of your body release trauma, things you should NOT do when healing from trauma, somatics 101, and tangible tips to help you start healing!
