the Word of Prophecy, as we pick up in 1st Timothy chapter 1, verse 20.

And now with today's study, here's Pastor Chuck.

Paul is charging Timothy and charging him according to the prophecies which went before on thee.

Now, many times it would it seem in the early church, they were directed in their ministry by prophecies,

by the word of prophecy. In the book of Acts chapter 13, now the Holy Spirit said,

separate unto me Paul and Barnabas for the ministry wherein I have called them.

And so they fasted and prayed, laid hands on them, and the Spirit sent them forth.

But how did the Spirit speak saying, separate unto me Paul and Barnabas?

Here they were, gathered together, praying, no doubt,

talking about the need of getting the gospel into the world that had not heard.

And the Spirit said, separate to me Paul and Barnabas for the ministry,

where I've called him.

How did he say that?
