Would you go please to Luke chapter 4 this morning?

We're continuing on a series we've begun just a couple of weeks ago

that we're calling the Word of Power.

The Word of Power.

We camped out for several Sundays on faith in the power.

And now we're talking about this a different series, but it's a follow-on, and that is the

word of power.

They're connected.

If you didn't hear the previous, let me encourage you.

How many that were here would think it would be worth their time to listen to what went before?

Go up and, you know, on your way out, if you're hearing the buildings, and if you want a CD or DVD, it won't cost you anything.

The easiest quickest ways to go online and and the broadcast are there, in their entire, well,

the whole message is there, and won't cost you anything.

There's no charge.

And around here we have a saying, no charge means no excuse for not knowing it, not getting

it.

It just requires some of your time, and the word does not waste your time.

In Luke the fourth chapter, verse 22, talking about Jesus at the beginning days of his ministry,

verse 22 says, they all bear him witness and wondered at the gracious

words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, is not this Joseph's son? The thing that caught

their attention was his words.
