0:00.0	Turn with me, please, if you would, to the fourth chapter of Luke, Luke 4, and then also
0:08.5	we'll be going over to James 1, I think.
0:14.5	We've been for some weeks now on a series we're calling, anybody remember what it is, the word of power, the word of power.
0:27.9	We had talked about before that faith in the power of God.
0:34.8	Scripture says there are those who have a form of godliness, but they deny the power.
0:43.4	And we certainly don't want to be that.
0:46.2	We purpose not to be that.
0:48.7	And so we talked about that we believe in the real actual miracle working power of God.
0:57.2	And now we're looking at how Jesus had manifestations of this power.
1:05.1	Because when Jesus would speak, things happened, didn't he?
1:13.6	Power manifestations occurred and they occurred when he spoke.
1:19.6	It was his words.
1:22.6	It was the main way that this power was released.
1:26.6	And Luke the fourth chapter, verse 32, Luke 432, said they were astonished at his doctrine,
1:40.1	his teaching and preaching, for His Word was with power.
1:47.2	Astonished is a strong word.
1:50.2	They were in awe of when he spoke.
1:54.7	Why were they in all?
1:56.7	His Word was with power.
1:59.3	Everybody said out loud, His Word was with power. Everybody said out loud, his word was with power.
2:05.1	Verse 33 said, in the synagogue, there was a man that had an unclean spirit.
2:10.1	In verse 35, Jesus rebuked him and said, hold your peace.
