and a blessed new year. Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the gospel truth. Today I'm continuing

to talk about the word became flesh. And I tell you this is one powerful truth. These are some

of the most foundational things that God has taught me. And I'm relating them specifically to the

virgin birth of Jesus.

And so this is about the end of my second week of teaching on this.

I've already covered a lot of material, and if you've missed any of this,

And man, these are just powerful truths.

It talks about the authority that God gave mankind.

It also talks about how that God has limited his sovereignty by his

own choice. He gave us a control and authority over things, and people just incorrectly assume

that God is sovereign. He's almighty. Everything that happens, it must be God's will or it couldn't happen.

That's not what the Word of God teaches. And a lack of understanding this leads to all kinds of

problems in our own personal life, but it also keeps us from understanding some of the greatest

things that are revealed through this virgin birth of the Lord Jesus.
