On Tuesday, I talked with Alicia, a Christian broadcaster on the front lines of the battle in Ukraine.

I asked her, what does it mean for you right now that God is Emmanuel, God with us?

Here's what she said.

It means that the gods of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of my father, the God of Russia and Ukraine.

My father, my Heavenly Father, he puts his hand on my shoulder like my father used to do it. And he says, be strong,

because I have chosen you and I will equip you to serve this nation. And I know that whatever

might be the end of my life, I know that I've done everything I could.

And this is what I like. My father, he always said, Alicia, every time do your best for God.

If you do something, do it 100%. And this is my habit.

If I do something, I'll do the best.

Even if you multiply my salary, 100%, I won't be able to do it better now, because this is my limit.

So my God says, be strong, do what you can do.

And one day you'll see your father, my father, Victor,

Victor in the heavenly Jerusalem. And I'll give him a hug, firstly to my father, Victor,

and then I'll run to Jesus. And he will give me a hug. And this is the hug that I feel now.

But this is not the whole hack.

The whole hack I'll get in heaven.
