Hello and welcome to the women's football show this week.

We will be counting down to the first final of the season.

It is, of course, the FA Cup final where Everton will be battling it out with Manchester City at Wembley.

Also this week, we've dusted off our VHS collection to dig out archive from the 1998 FA Cup final between Arsenal and Croydon.

So Hope Powell and Rachel Yankee, who both featured in that match, will be joining us a little bit later on.

Now, Sue Smith, former England International, is alongside me as always.

And now, Sue, you featured in a few FA Cup finals yourself. How important is this Cup final? Where does it rank in terms of the hierarchy?

I did, Jess, and unfortunately, I didn't win any of them. So that's probably deleted from my

memory. But no, it's definitely in the women's game,

it's the pinnacle of any player's career to play in an FA Cup final. I absolutely loved the sort

of getting there. Obviously, the final was difficult being beaten. I's, you know, I'm a winner.

Hate getting beat.

But I think for any player, especially now, they're playing at Wembley.

And I think every young boy and young girl when they're growing up,

I think to get to a cup final, to play at Wembley, it is the pinnacle.

It is.

I'm really, really looking forward to this.
