Summary

The old house charmed Courtney and Landon from the start. Built in the late 1800s and beautifully renovated, it seemed the perfect place to begin their new life together and forget the mess they had left behind. But they do not know that the house has a secret of its own. Warning: Contains explicit language, frightening situations and adult content not suitable for younger audiences. What you're about to hear is a production from Midnight Radio Theater, which was written, directed, and produced by Billy Senease, and it's titled The Woman in the Basement.

Now, unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to quiz Billy on all the details of how

0:39.8

this episode was produced, but it sounds as if it was recorded on location rather than a studio

0:45.6

setting, which once again contributes a reality to the story that perhaps it wouldn't have

0:51.6

had otherwise. There is certainly an urgency to the performances that I think the location recording enhances,

0:58.5

and my head is off to this really terrific cast and crew.

Lcpictures.com. He's got a new feature film coming out called The Dead Center, and it looks

1:20.4

amazing and just plain spooky. You can check out the teaser on YouTube, and we'll provide

links in the show notes.

One word of caution, there is one scene that may be a little R-rated, so as always, use

discretion when there are young ears about that might be listening.

Okay, guys, thanks for tuning in.

Hope you enjoy our last fireside visit for now.
