The big news of Monday is the reported hiring of Chris Partridge, which with the Michigan

football program, obviously, if that's a name you've heard before, it's because he did

spend four years here as a staffer under Jim Harbaugh, 2016 through 2019, coached the

special teams. He coached the linebackers, I think, for two 2019, coached the special teams.

He coached the linebackers, I think, for two years, and then the safeties for two years.

And that's kind of where we're at with it right now.

We don't know if he's moving into a, you know, a defensive staffer role.

We don't know if he's maybe more of an off-field guy,

like filling the departed Bipoji associate head coach role.
