In contentious days, a person with wisdom will really stand out.

Here's Nancy DeMoss Walgamuth.

Wisdom isn't just sitting in your study at home, having your quiet time.

That's a great thing. Do it. Read your Bible. Pray.

But wisdom gets used when you go out into the rough and tumble of everyday life and everything is going into flames around you.

For August 3rd, 2021, I'm Dana Gresh. Sometimes when we think about needing wisdom, it's in the context of important decisions, making plans, or figuring out a tough problem.

And while it's true that we need wisdom in those times, wisdom is also necessary in our everyday

moments, from conversations with family to running errands and scrolling through social media.

Yesterday, Nancy began a story from Second Samuel about a woman who displayed wisdom in her

actions. We'll hear the rest of the story today and learn how big of an impact wisdom can make.
