Lincoln could hardly believe his eyes as he found himself flying high in the sky.

Just days before, he had the wild idea of creating a giant

wing and attaching it to his bike to see if he could fly. And after days of finding materials

and building and testing and being laughed at by the neighborhood kids, his invention actually worked.

His wind cycle launched him high into the sky, but a sudden windstorm pulled him up even

higher until he flew through a giant swirling hole in the clouds.

And the wind had gotten so strong that his homemade wing was starting to fall apart.

Lincoln was flying high, but he had no idea where he was going or how he was going to survive if his wing completely fell apart.

Lincoln had clearly been blown far past anything he knew or recognized by this time,

because once the clouds finally started to clear,

he looked down and saw that he was flying over the ocean.

And where was he? And then he heard a loud, ripping sound as he looked up and saw that his homemade wing was completely coming apart. And he could feel himself starting to go down.

His bike went into a tailspin as it turned around and around, heading straight toward the water

like a meteorite. But then, right when Lincoln thought it was all over, he spotted a small

speck of land standing alone in the ocean. Could it be? Yes, it was an island. He used all of the

strength he had left to lean his body and turn his wind cycle toward the island.

And it kind of worked.

He slowly turned and headed steadily towards it.

And as his wing kept coming apart, he could feel himself going faster and faster towards the ground. The wind was

blowing so fast in his face he couldn't even see anymore. And after it felt like he had been

falling forever, he suddenly felt himself crash land onto a giant pillow.
